Jeff Kolb has joined KOKI FOX 23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the weekend sports anchor.

Jeff Kolb has joined KOKI FOX 23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the weekend sports anchor.

Jeff joins FOX 23 from WJAR NBC 10 in Providence, Rhode Island where he was a sports reporter and fill-in anchor for the past two years. He also spent time as a fill-in radio host at WEEI Sports Radio Network.

At WJAR, Jeff has covered several major sports stories. He followed the New England Patriots' run to Super Bowl XLIX, including reports on the deflate-gate controversy. During the 2014-15 school year, he covered the Providence College Friars hockey team win its first national championship in school history, the men's soccer team make the NCAA final four and traveled with the basketball team to Columbus, Ohio, for its second straight season making the NCAA tournament.

Before joining WJAR, Jeff worked as a sports anchor at WBKB CBS/FOX/ABC 11 in Alpena, Michigan.

Prior to that, he was a sports multimedia journalist at The Public Opinion Newspaper in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Jeff has also interned at many places during college, including WPRI CBS 12 in Providence, Rhode Island; and WHDH NBC 7 in Boston, Massachusetts.

A native Rhode Islander, Jeff is a graduate of Emerson College, where he played four years on the college baseball team.
