Kathryn Hauser is leaving Boston's WBZ CBS 4, New England One has learned.

Kathryn currently co-anchors WBZ This Morning and WBZ News at Noon at the station.

An inside source told New England One that Kathryn's husband received a job offer in Connecticut, and since her contract was coming up for renewal, she gave notice at the station.

Kathryn came to WBZ from News 12 Connecticut where she anchored the weekday morning show. She had been with News 12 Connecticut since 2009.

Prior to that, she worked as a reporter at FOX23 News in Albany, New York. She got her professional start as a broadcast journalist at WLNY-TV 55 on Long Island.

Kathryn has covered national stories from the murder of Yale graduate student Annie Le, to the Miracle on the Hudson, to the sex scandal surrounding former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer.

Kathryn is a graduate of Siena College in New York.
