Brad Tatum is joining Boston's WBZ CBS 4/WSBK My 38 as assistant news director, New England One has learned.

Brad Tatum is joining Boston's WBZ CBS 4/WSBK My 38 as assistant news director, New England One has learned.

He replaces Johnny Green who was named interim news director in March, then promoted to the position in April.

Brad joins WBZ from WHDH NBC 7 where he has been since 2010, most recently as an executive producer of daytime newscasts. He is also the manager of online and social content.

Before joining WHDH, Brad spent ten years at WSOC ABC 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina; first as a producer, then later executive producer at the station.

Brad is a native of High Point, North Carolina. WBZ tells us he starts there on July 5.
