Every drone you buy from the market includes a user manual that helps you understand how the drone works. But most of the people ignore the user manual and it causes drone damage cases. Actually, the people who have already know the drones ignore the manual because they think every drone works in the same way. The manufactures better know their product and that is why they include this useful information in the manual to avoid any damage. The information mostly includes the amount of time needed for battery charge, the range of the remote control and the information about other main features of the drone.

Avoid Flying in Bad Weather

Bad weather means, rain, strong winds, hail, and other such conditions. If you will fly your drone in optimal weather conditions, then it will work for longer. You will not need to replace your drone any soon if you will follow this safety tip. Sunny weather looks fine for flying a drone, but if the winds are strong then we will not recommend you to fly your quadcopter. Due to strong winds, the drone has to struggle that can damage your drone.

Keep Away Your Drone from Restricted Areas

There are certain areas where you cannot fly your drone such as government facilities, military bases, airports etc. The reason is that the radio signals from your drone can cause an interruption to control tower and aircraft. In 2016, the pilot of Air France has to switch from autopilot to manual to avoid collision with a drone. Moreover, you can contact the airport, if you are flying within the 5 miles of the airport area.

If you are in any of the restricted areas then you should avoid flying your drone. Actually, some of the drone apps have a feature of restricted areas. Recently the Us Department of Defense has authorized the base leaders to shoot any non-military drone flying over the base. So, stay away from these areas if you do not want to lose your drone.

Watch Out for Interference and Obstacles

Watch out for any obstacles, some of the drone models include 5-side obstacle avoidance feature. This feature makes sure that your drone does not crush any obstacle. Anyway, not all of the models have this feature, so you have to steer away from an obstacle yourself.

Another problem faced by the pilots is the interference. There are chances that another electromagnetic interference can cause problem controlling your drone. A simple solution is to switch to stronger antennas and receivers such as 5.8GHZ. Moreover, you need to keep your drone in your sight all the time for safety purposes.
