Former WPRI morning reporter Andrew Adamson has told New England One that he will be starting at WTXF-TV FOX 29 as a freelance photojournalist later this month. He will also be working for the Philadelphia Eagles as a game day staff member.

Andrew left WPRI after two years last May to move to Philadelphia with his fiancée Jan Carabeo, who had recently joined KYW CBS 3 from WTIC-TV FOX Connecticut.

During his time at WPRI, Andrew covered some key national breaking news, such as the Boston Marathon bombing. He also covered the Ringling Brothers Circus accident and the murder case against ex-Patriots' star Aaron Hernandez from the very beginning. He has also reported live from the Red Sox World Series Championship, the Bruins Stanley Cup run, and the Patriots playoff push.

Andrew was also a reporter at KOLO-TV in Reno, NC. Prior to that, he was the weekend sports anchor at YNN in Rochester, NY. He was also the sports director at WICZ-TV in Binghampton, NY. He also worked at B-Sens weekly, WOOD-TV, and WTIU-TV.

Andrew is a 2007 graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, where he earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.
