FOX 61, Tribune Broadcasting's Hartford & New Haven television station, today announced Liz Grey Godbout has been named News Director.
Grey Godbout, who will oversee all aspects of FOX61 News, will join the station on February 6 and report to Jon Hitchcock, VP/GM.
Grey Godbout joins FOX61 from Frontier Communications where she served as Communications Manager for Connecticut, managed strategic partnerships and launched the Vantage Sports Network. Previously, while the principal of Grey Godbout Media; she handled communications and social media for FOX61 and worked on the “Know Your Value” conference for Women with Mika Brzezinski. She also served as Editor At Large for Hartford Magazine and New Haven Living Magazine, Vice President News for WVIT/NBC in Hartford, Assistant News Director for WABC in New York, and News Director for WTNH/ABC in New Haven.

She holds a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from Albertus Magnus College.
