The Country Network (TCN) has announced it has expanded into nine new markets: Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Amarillo, Tyler/Longview, Lubbock, Waco/Temple/Bryan, Fort Smith/Fayetteville/Springfield/Rogers, Joplin/Pittsburg and Wichita. Additionally, TCN renewed its affiliate contracts with Cocola Broadcasting Companies, LLC., ensuring continued carriage in Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto, Monterey, Fresno and Bakersfield, California, as well as Boise, Idaho.

"From the beginning, our growth-strategy has been to reach 100 million DMA households within the next three years," remarks Tim Eaton, President and CEO. "We are on pace and aggressively pursuing this goal across a variety of different platforms, including OTA, OTT, online and wherever new technology takes us."

The expansion comes on the heels of TCN's announcement of its fall lineup, which includes eight new original series (for more information about these shows, click HERE). The production-based network seeks to provide fans with quality Country music programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across multiple digital platforms, as well as online at www.tcncountry.com.

"With CFO Gary Pfleiger's background in banking and finance, added to the production and broadcast experience of CEO Tim Eaton, these two guys are the right people to be running The Country Network."--Gary Cocola, Owner, CEO, Cocola Broadcasting

"Fans, affiliates, and advertisers are finding us," states Cary Rolfe, VP of Programming & Artist Relations. "TCN is focused on delivering great music, wherever it is--in Nashville or in the heartland. We hit the nightclubs, the festivals, the big concerts, wherever fans are buzzing. We don't just cover mainstream, but Red Dirt, Texas and Americana too, and I think people find it refreshing."
