AJ Walker is leaving LIN Media's WTNH-TV ABC 8 to join NBC owned station WVIT-TV as an investigative reporter on NBC CT’s Troubleshooter team.
AJ has been with WTNH as a reporter since December 2013.
Previously, she was a policy analyst intern at The White House in Washington, D.C. where she interned for the President’s National Economic Council in areas of Immigration, Military Affairs, Labor, and Health Care policy.
AJ has held various titles in both public service and media.
She has been a freelance reporter at both WCSC-TV CBS 5 in Charleston, SC and WCPO-TV ABC 9 in Cincinnati, OH and a reporter/anchor at the former WKAG-TV in Hopkinsville, KY.
AJ is a 2006 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where she attained a Bachelor degree in journalism, and a 2012 graduate of Tennessee State University where she obtained a Master of Public Administration.
