Kevin Landrigan, who has covered state and national politics for 33 years in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and is one of New England’s pre-eminent political journalists, has been named Chief Political Correspondent for New Hampshire One News.

His appointment was announced Monday by Robb Atkinson, News Director of NH1 – a multi-media news organization that will provide television, radio and digital news programming in the fall from headquarters at the NH1 Media Center located in the state capital.

Landrigan comes to NH1 News after 26 years as State House Bureau Chief and Senior Political Reporter for The Telegraph of Nashua. During that time he earned a national reputation as an authoritative and widely-read political writer whose syndicated column appeared in many state newspapers. He regularly serves as a guest commentator on state and national media outlets.

NH1 will soon begin television newscasts from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and from 10 to 11 p.m. on WBIN-TV, Derry, while also producing news programming for Binnie Media radio stations and affiliates throughout the state as well as for NH1.com.

In addition to regularly appearing on television, Landrigan will also be a regular contributor to the NH1.com website, and will be active on the company’s social media channels.
