It's that time of year again - the nominations for the 40th Boston/New England Emmy Awards are in.

The regional Emmy Awards are presented by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), Boston/New England chapter.

This year, the NATAS Boston/NE chapter received more than 900 entries from stations, production companies, and other media entities across all six New England states.

Boston's WCVB Channel 5 was the top nominated station for the 2017 Boston/New England Emmy Awards receiving 53 nominations, receiving more nominations than any station or media organization in New England.

The Emmy nomination announcement took place on Tuesday night at a reception hosted by NATAS Boston/NE. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is the premier and most recognized non‐profit organization dedicated to the advancement of excellence in television and media.
