1. What kind of phone do you have, and what are your favorite apps?
I have an iPhone 6. I also don’t know what I’d do without Google Maps. I also constantly use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.

2. Favorite and least favorite news topics to cover (besides violent crime)?
I gravitate toward weather stories. It’s tough to say that I favor covering weather because often times that means covering devastation and death but weather in general fascinates me. If I had been better at science in school I might have tried to become a meteorologist.

My least favorite is anything business or finance related.

3. If you weren't working in TV news, what would you be doing?
I’d probably own my own business. Not sure what kind but a dog day care or anything involving animals would be fun.

4. What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
 I loved Rainbow Brite.

5. When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
I have two dogs so any time I can I’m outside somewhere with them.

6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
My family lives in the Philippines and I don’t get to see them often so it’s always my number one travel destination.

7. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
Malala Yousafzai. (The Pakistani girl shot by the Taliban for defending her right to an education). She is so courageous and well-spoken. I’d love to hear her view points on a lot of things.

8. Do you collect anything?
Memories. I try not to collect stuff. (Sounds cheesy, I know)

9. What are the top 3 played songs on your iPod?
Well the last three played were Jackie and Wilson by Hozier, Cigarette Daydreams by Cage the Elephant and How Will I Know by the great Whitney Houston.

10. What is one of your favorite quotes?
“The cure for everything is saltwater: sweat, tears, or the sea." - Karen Blixen

11. What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
I just moved back to New England and I feel every time I move I get stronger. New experiences foster strength.
